I’ve been pretty pleased with myself lately as I’ve got a handful of blogs up and running. There’s, of course, this blog (the one that you’re reading at the moment). There’s also the credit card debt blog. And I have the wedding blog that’s been going strong for awhile now (but which may be moving to a new platform soon). There’s also the pay-per-click (PPC) coupons blog.
I’m really happy with the progress I’ve made on the appearance of all of the blogs. It takes a fair amount of effort to get content up on those 5-7 days per week. But I’m disappointed in my landing pages. Here’s one that I have for the moment in the IM niche and another that I have for credit card debt (note how similar they are).
I need to improve those. Once I have those improved, I’ll start being able to send more traffic to them. For now, I’m hesitant to because I think the conversions will be horrific.
That said, I’m participating in Dr. Mani’s 10-days to traffic contest. I’m also going to do some keyword research so that I can write better focused entries. Once I feel like I have my arms around that, it’s time to refocus on my PPC efforts.
